1. Patient is not seeking dialysis or renal transplant
2. Creatinine Clearance <10 cc/min (<15 cc/min for diabetes)
3. Serum Creatinine >8 mg/dl (>6 mg>dl for diabetes)

These factors will support eligibility

1. Uremia, Oliguria (<400 cc/day), Uremic pericarditis, Hepetorenal syndrome
2. Intractable hyperkalemia (>7) not responsive to treatment
3. Intractable fluid overload not responsive to treatment
